How to Discover a New Author to Read.
Here’s a fairly quick way to find out if a book is worth reading. Most paperbacks have a short synopsis of the book/story on the back cover. (Ignore the praise heaped on the book unless it is from someone you trust.) If it sounds like something you might enjoy, then have a seat in one of our chairs, open up the book to the first page, and start reading. Does the author peak your interest? Do you like his/her writing style? If so, then give it a try.
